Overlooked Music

Lately, I have come to appreciate a band that has been around for several years. They received some short fame by having their song “Paint the Silence” played on The OC but after that they were no where to be found heard. The band I speak of is South. Being that they were formed in the UK, they have similar elements to UK bands such as Blur and Starsailor but still with their own unique melodies. I recently been listening to their albums and have found a new appreciation for them. It’s sad to note that they are an overlooked band in the indie scene.

To learn more about South and check out their music, visit their website. You won’t be disappointed.

I like their song ‘Loosen Your Hold’ from ‘With the Tides’… good stuff.
